I think you mean a $313,000 dump.

Thank you for reinforcing our decision to not move back to WA.

That would be the punchline, yes.

I can get you a reno loan and that little gem will shine right up!

Was quite a nice place - in 1974.

If the loan includes a wrecking ball, a flamethrower, and a keg: maybe.

I would not want to even breathe in there - mold central.

Jesus, is that Washington or Chernobyl?

Get out of there before you catch something.

Reminds me of the housing market in Silicon Valley in mid-aughts: “fixer uppers” less than 1400 sq ft in semi-shitty neighborhoods that gentrification hadn’t culturally destroyed yet. All before the housing bubble burst and caused the global recession.
In other words, buy it only if you intend to flip it.
![]() 02/10/2018 at 15:33 |

You’re going to need a lot more than 1 keg.

$313,000 home lot in Mukilteo.
FTFY

Essentially $313k for a lot, a foundation which may or may not be salvageable, and the pleasure of hauling away someone else’s pile of shit.
That dishwasher looks pretty rad though.

I bet someone was murdered there.
Nice kitchen flooring. I am a sucker for old kitchens, but they need to be in a somewhat better state of preservation.

Wow. Is it at least presentable from the outside?
![]() 02/10/2018 at 15:35 |

Does it come with 5 gallons of gas and a lit rag?

Too bad you don’t have a show on HGTV. You could have this thing looking spiffy in just a few hours, all thanks to some charisma, moxie, and wholesome Christian values!
...Oh, and some questionably legal hiring practices.

So I’m guessing someone’s going to come in, drop 80k renovating it then putting it back on the market for 500k+? What are nearby homes going for in that neighborhood

$300,000 block of land with all services and a temporary structure perhaps?
Our house will be sold today. We got three offers, all just over our asking price...so yippee for us.

In SF too, probably more.

You have to keep one corner to call it an improvement or the fees are like a laundry list.

Looks like it needs a good fire...
![]() 02/10/2018 at 16:25 |

Not to worry! For just $300k more they can give it that farmhouse style!

Do you go in wearing a respirator and a fresh tetanus shot?
![]() 02/10/2018 at 16:44 |

Does the housing market in the PNW use yen or something?
Because this price seems fair.

The handles on those four drawers are so cool. I’d like to do something like that in my own kitchen.
My sister would take one look at that and lose her mind.

More likely a teardown. Property is pricey.
![]() 02/10/2018 at 17:52 |

You couldn’t make that livable for $80k.
